With Mixed Feelings

My family and I are announcing that we will be closing The Legacy Bar and Grill at the end of the year. Opening, owning, and operating this restaurant has been such a rewarding experience. We have been able to reconnect with people we haven’t seen in years while making a plethora of new friends along the way. We were fortunate enough to have a tremendous staff that has been instrumental in gaining us such great media reviews from the Pulse, Worcester Magazine, MA Foodies, and a prestigious 4 star review from the Telegram & Gazette. Most importantly, we have received great feedback from you, our guests, and that means more to us than can be conveyed in words. Most of you know my back story and the driving force behind the opening of The Legacy, but for those of you that don’t, I went through an illness a couple of years ago and it made me realize that I did not want to have any regrets. As a result, I opened up my dream, The Legacy Bar and Grill. I am quickly learning though, that being 65 years old, I am restricted in giving the time and energy it takes to run a successful restaurant, hence, the decision to close our doors.

From now, until the end of the year, we would love for you to come in, say goodbye, and have a holiday drink or meal. Until the moment we close our doors, you will continue to receive the same great service and great food that you have come to expect from our restaurant.

Please let people know that gift cards and rewards points are still being accepted and they should make sure to utilize them before the end of the year.

I want to truly thank everyone for your patronage at The Legacy Bar and Grill and that it has been a pleasure to serve you.

Sincerely,
Howard Sobel
